The circular model

A circle, not a line.

The MAIAGRO loop connects cultivation, produce trading, biomass capture, Bio-CNG production, organic fertiliser and farmer empowerment. It is a model designed to keep agricultural value moving.

How the loop works

Field to fuel to field.

The traditional agricultural supply chain often ends at harvest. MAIAGRO extends the chain by asking what happens next: Can produce reach the right buyer? Can biomass become fuel? Can organic value return to the land?

The loop helps reduce waste, create additional farmer income opportunities, support cleaner energy and strengthen local agricultural resilience.

01

Cultivate and advise

Farmers grow crops and Napier grass with field support, crop planning and cultivation guidance.

02

Procure and aggregate

Produce and biomass are collected through planned channels with attention to quality, quantity and timing.

03

Convert biomass

Napier grass and suitable organic material enter the Bio-CNG process through anaerobic digestion.

04

Produce clean fuel

Biogas is purified and compressed into renewable fuel that supports cleaner energy needs.

05

Return organic value

Digestate and organic inputs can return nutrients to the soil, reducing waste and supporting crop productivity.

06

Strengthen farmer income

Buyback discussions, crop support and reliable supply channels help farmers plan with more confidence.

The loop at a glance

One ecosystem, multiple outputs.

Back to field

The goal is simple: the value should not stop after harvest. It should circulate through trade, energy, soil and farmer income.

Why it matters

A circular model pays back in many ways.

For farmers

More predictable relationships through advisory, buyback discussions, planned cultivation and additional biomass opportunities.

For buyers

More organized supply, clearer quantity planning and better coordination with farmer-linked procurement channels.

For energy

Locally available biomass supports renewable gas production and rural clean-energy infrastructure.

For soil

Organic value can return to the field, supporting nutrient cycling and long-term productivity.

Farmer partnership
Partner points

You can join the loop at different points.

A farmer may join by growing Napier grass or supplying produce. A buyer may join by sourcing agricultural produce. An energy partner may join through biomass supply or Bio-CNG discussions. An institution may join through sustainability, rural development or clean-energy collaboration.

The loop works best when every participant understands their role and the value they receive. MAIAGRO coordinates these roles so agriculture, energy and soil return do not remain disconnected.

Impact goals

The long-term goal is rural value that keeps circulating.

01
Reduce wastage

Use biomass and organic material in productive energy and soil systems.

02
Improve certainty

Create more planned relationships around crops, procurement, feedstock and commercial terms.

03
Build resilience

Support local agriculture with cleaner energy, better soil return and farmer-linked enterprise.
